Jetpack Workflow Product Updates (October & November 2024)

Hey there! It’s been about two months since our last product update and we’ve got some awesome things to share with you.

If you are a customer or currently trialing or demoing Jetpack Workflow, then you may have seen these recent updates. But if not, below is a recap of all the updates and new things we shipped. Ready to dive in?

Introducing Capacity Planning

We’ve made some major progress on our capacity planning feature within Jetpack Workflow. This has been a major feature and highly requested one, so we were excited to get this live in October.

Here’s why our planning feature matters:

• You get a better view on the full capacity of your entire team.
• Quickly discover the remaining budgeted time across employees.
• Drill down into individual tasks, reassign work, and more.

Start Using Labels in Jetpack

Ever struggle with knowing what’s in review, what’s the priority, what’s waiting on a client (or signatures, or vendor, or a team member?)

To add more flexibility to your project tracking, we’ve now added ‘Labels’.

Labels are a flexible feature that gives you full control of when to apply, what to name them, and even what color they are.

Some of our favorite use cases include:

• Adding ‘waiting on a client’ label (which pairs well with the ‘last edited’ column and filter).
• Adding ‘review’ so you know what stage the project is in.
• Adding ‘urgent’ so your team knows to focus on the project right away.

Labels are also listed as their own project column, filterable, and can be applied to an entire series of projects.



Lastly, we also made some minor changes to “project” edit. These few things include:

• Editing no longer occurs on a separate page.
• Updates to the layout and styling of the edit form itself.
• Increased the maximum character length for project names, series names, and template names from 50 characters to 75 characters.
